Two hotels at a unique location - close to the city centre but nevertheless surrounded by nature. Hotel 1 is located in the biggest and most beautiful hotel park of the city: 20,000 square metres with 200 year old trees, ponds and promenades. The new Hotel 2 is just across the street from Hotel 1. Both houses are ideal: only 20 minutes away from St. Stephen's Cathedral in the heart of the city, easily accessible by public transport and by car. Designed by the architects Michael Schluder and Veronika Vogelauer, Hotel 2 represents contemporary hotel design. Its 75 rooms display clear structures and modern atmosphere to the very last detail. All rooms offer shower/bath combinations, direct dial telephone, cable TV, hair dryer, safe at the room and Internet. A vending machine is placed on the ground floor. Guests can also enjoy a work-out in the fitness room and then relax in the sauna. The Gartenhotel has become one of the citys' gastronomic highlights with its two restaurants, Recos Bar and Cafeteria Rosso.
