DescriptionSchönbrunn Palace Park is part of the Unesco World Heritage Site. Its varied history dates back to the 16th century. The garden complex that exists today dates back mainly to the time of Maria Theresa and the 18th century. She also used this representative park as a symbol of her rule and power. After Maria Theresa received the grounds with the then much smaller palace from her father as a gift, she decided to expand the grounds and the palace in the spirit of the Baroque and make it one of the most important representative spaces of her time. This includes the many smaller and larger park architectures built by renowned architects, which have been preserved to this day.The typical elements of a Baroque garden make the grounds of Schönbrunn unique.
IncludesSince the tour only goes through the park, there are no additional entrance fees. The tour is conducted by me as a professional guide and garden monument pleger.
