The Requiem Mass in D minor (K. 626) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, which was completed by F. X. Süssmayr, will be performed in the church. The special thing about the performance is that the 40 musicians of the orchestra are based on the size of the world premiere in 1756. This results in the ensemble's special, historical, and classic sound. The Requiem was Mozart's final composition in 1791 and was one of his impressive works of art. A variety of legends revolve around the requiem mass – for example, it is said that Mozart sang the moving 'Lacrimosa' with his friends on his deathbed.
