DescriptionThe tour starts will start in the former office, known as the 'Comptoir', where you can marvel at the original furnishings that date back to 1902. Your knowledgeable guide will provide a brief history of the family that once lived in the building, transporting you back to the Imperial Age. Afterward, you will head to the 'Composition Room'. The interior of this room resembles an old-fashioned apothecary’s shop and here, you will discover how many different schnapps and liqueurs are made. You will have a chance to taste a wide variety of these drinks at the bar in the large distillery room and see first-hand, one of the very first steam distillation vessels. For guests who are not drinking alcohol, you will be able to sample some homemade raspberry juice. On the way back to the starting point you will pass a typical old Viennese courtyard, where you can see one of the trucks dating back to 1935. A visit to the Old Vienna Schnapsmuseum is guaranteed to be a highlight in your visit to Vienna.
