On this tour you will see the Belvedere Palace with its picture gallery - housing the largest collection of paintings by Gustav Klimt. You will also see the large collection of Biedermeier paintings.

Description

At the beginning of the tour, we take a walk around the castle, visit the gardens and enjoy the beautiful view (Belvedere). Afterwards, we go to the Marble Hall of the palace, where the Austrian State Treaty was signed. From there we begin our tour of the picture gallery. The highlight will be the paintings by Gustav Klimt with the famous painting “The Kiss”. Another highlight will be tze extensive collection of Biedermeier paintings from the first half of the 19th century. We will end the tour in the second floor of the Belvedere with paintings from the 20th century.
