We chose DoubleTree by Hilton in Vienna for a short one-night stay, and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. We’ve had good experiences with this brand in the U.S. whenever we needed a quick stop, and this location was no exception. The room and bathroom were both very clean and modern, everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The lobby area is also beautiful and creates a great first impression. We didn’t opt for breakfast this time, so I can’t comment on that, but overall we were completely satisfied with our stay. The location is a big plus, Schönbrunn Palace is easily reachable on foot, and there’s also a metro station just a short walk away. I can definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed for over a week and enjoyed every minute. The hotel took all efforts to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was full of traditional food as is offered in Austria. Fresh deli meats and cheese. Fresh yogurt and juices with Cafe latte as a choice. A simple Cesar salad with added tomatoes was probably the best tasting I have ever had. It was fresh and bold. Perfect for and afternoon meal. A wonderful home away from home and a 5 minute walk to the subway and the beautiful summer palace. We attended an Easter Market and it did not disappoint. A lovely time. Austria is fantastic.
I stayed here for a special occasion, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I contacted the hotel, Burcak Celik and Mia Vidovic provided exceptional support. Thanks to their kindness and my Hilton Gold membership, I had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful Junior Suite. What impressed me most was the staff’s attention to detail—they made sure our room was perfectly prepared for our specific needs, including arranging a very comfortable extra bed, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, spotless, and the hospitality felt genuinely warm throughout. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.
This is genuinely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I had a pleasant experience. Albeit the location is a bit far from the city centre and most tourists attractions, the room is very comfortable and I was happy to sleep like a log after a long day. 10/10! Will come back again in the future :)
We had a lovely 3-night stay at this hotel, perfectly situated to walk to the chateau gardens, 1-hour walk or 30min metro/tram ride from the Vienna Historical centre. The rooms are spacious and modern, clean. The staff are friendly and professional. The car park is convenient. We stayed in a room with a large terrasse and a view of the chateau. Highly recommend. We will definitely come back.
