We had two rooms on the 7th floor and everything was top notch. Brand-new, clean, comfy beds. Soundproofing is perfect. Couldn’t hear anything from the outside, though one could hear neighbors a bit but they were quiet by midnight. Food was typical spark/hampton, in my opinion decent breakfast. Parking garage is right underneath, costs 26 eur. Taxi to the center 16-20 eur but there is u Bahn right next to the hotel Want to highlight the reception, Arsen and Lena were extremely nice and friendly. Definitely recommend, a good place to stay in Vienna. Great value for money!
Came to Vienna for a work trip and a company chose this exact hotel and I get why. Really calm and modern hotel near a train/bus station, so it’s really easy to get anywhere in Vienna. Super friendly staff, you’ll always be greeted with a smile when you get to the breakfast, really gets the day going.
Rooms are of good size and clean... everythign would be great if it wasn't for two issues; 1. There are no shelves / closets... they had multiple hangers and some small night stands but no place to put my shorts or t-shirts 2. the breakfast was average at best.... scrambbled eggs made from some synthetic egg-like substance, The people were friendly and professional and I also like the location, even though it is some distance from the center of Vienna... it is very quiet and with metro just across - quick access to the busy center.
We stayed for 4 nights in April. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was done every day. The staff had a very positive and welcoming attitude. We came to Vienna for tourism, and on the day we arrived (we came early in the morning), we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before our room was ready. Similarly, on the day we checked out, we could leave our bags again after vacating the room, which allowed us to spend more time exploring the city. The train station is right across from the hotel, and there is also a shopping mall next to it, so the location is very convenient. Overall, we had a smooth and pleasant stay.
I stayed one night at the Spark by Hilton Vienna Donaustadt and was honestly very surprised, in a good way. From my experience in the US, Spark is usually a very basic budget brand, so I didn’t expect much. But this hotel felt much closer to a boutique-style property than a typical low-cost hotel. The lobby and common areas are beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail. The room itself was quite compact, but very well thought-out, with clever design elements that make it feel more spacious than it actually is. The bathroom was modern with a large walk-in shower, and everything felt clean and well maintained. A standout highlight was the breakfast: not your typical budget hotel offering, but a fresh and high-quality buffet with a great selection. Also worth mentioning: the gym looked incredible, especially for a hotel in this price range (unfortunately I didn’t have time to use it). The only slightly confusing part was the parking situation: it works, but the way to get into the garage is a bit complicated the first time. However, they have a few short-time parking spots in front of the building, and the staff was very helpful in explaining how the actual parking garage works. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and completely exceeded my expectations. If this is what Spark hotels in Europe are like, they could easily rebrand to Curio or Tapestry hotels.
