Schubert died on 19th November 1828. The appartment is small - and the exhibition short, but it offers you a good impression on how Schubert's last weeks looked like, his piano, the last works he composed (among them one of the better known songs 'The Shepherd on the Rock'), as well as information on his death. Documentation is shown on his funeral as well as where he was buried.
