Description
The tour begins with a pickup from selected downtown Vienna hotels or recommended locations in an air-conditioned minibus. After the last pickup, you will travel 30 minutes to the Weinviertel wine region. Along the way, gain insight into Austria's rich history and wine tradition.
Upon arrival, visit 2 wineries on the Morning Tour or 3 wineries on the full tour. These small, family-run wineries produce 35,000 to 50,000 bottles annually, mostly sold to select restaurants or directly from the cellar. In a small group, you will sample 4 wines at each winery while learning about their production processes.
The tour concludes with a classic Austrian lunch or dinner at the last winery, providing time to discuss the wine tastings. After the meal, return transportation brings you back to your hotel or a downtown drop-off point in Vienna.
