So I’ve been to my fare share of Wine Bars / Bistros throughout Europe and Wulfisch immediately jumps to the top of the list. It is rare that you find such an establishment where the quality of the locally sourced wines (also great wines from Germany, Italy, France and Spain) is exceeded only by the quality / friendliness of the Owners and employees that work there! Shout out to Vicki, Sebi, Lucca and Niels - the best! Oh and did I mention the prices are great too! Cheers my friends… until next time! 🥂
Wulfisch clearly a contender for one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we’ve had in years. The atmosphere is unpretentious and welcoming, and fellow diners -- some regulars. Others first timers like us -- added to the experience with friendly banter. The North Sea–style matjes and seafood salad sampler were unlike anything we’ve tried before—fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. The tastes were amazing. We couldn't decide which liked best. The manager/co-owner, clearly proud of the casual yet refined concept, took the time to walk us through each item in detail, making the experience even more rewarding. We ended up lingering longer than planned, enjoying espressos and a few extra glasses of wine. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and stay awhile. We’ll definitely be back.
Best spot in Vienna! The vibe is a 12/10. Standing outside in the sun with a great spritz or a glass of wine, snacking on delicious shrimp rolls or vegan tuna sandwiches and just enjoying life. The service is absolutely the best and I love the whole atmosphere. If you don’t check it out, you’re missing out!
