**Traunkirchen – Lakeside Serenity**
In the warmer seasons and when daylight allows, we may include an optional stop in the peaceful lakeside village of Traunkirchen on the shores of Lake Traunsee.
Please note: this stop is not available during the winter season, as shorter daylight hours limit the overall route. Our main priority is to give you enough time to fully experience the key highlights of the tour — Hallstatt and Salzburg — without rushing or cutting corners.
**Hallstatt – The Jewel of the Austrian Alps**
Hallstatt, one of the world’s most beautiful lakeside villages. Nestled between towering mountains and the serene Hallstätter See, this fairytale town offers endless opportunities for breathtaking photographs. Enjoy around two hours of free time — wander through its historic alleys, visit the market square, or admire the panoramic views from the Skywalk.
**Salzburg – A City of Music & Stunning Scenery**
Our journey concludes in Salzburg, a city of baroque elegance and rich musical heritage. Walk through the Mirabell Gardens, where *The Sound of Music* was filmed, and explore the Old Town with its grand cathedral, lively squares, and Mozart’s Birthplace. After a guided introduction, you’ll have about three hours of free time to visit museums, shop for souvenirs, or savor Austrian specialties in a cozy café.
**Return to Vienna or Bratislava**
As the day draws to a close, relax on the comfortable drive back to your hotel. Surrounded by memories of mountains, music, and lakeside beauty, you’ll return with unforgettable impressions of Austria’s hidden gems.
