Description

This cruise begins at Schwedenplatz, where you redeem your voucher at the DDSG Blue Danube boat station. The ships depart from a location a few minutes' walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna’s city center.

The cruise operates on two vessels: the MS Vindobona, known for its French design and sightseeing appeal (departures at 11:30 and 15:00), and the MS Wien, which features a large outdoor deck (departures at 10:30 and 14:00). Both ships are air conditioned and offer comfortable restaurant-style seating.

During the cruise, you will pass through two locks, each taking about 20 minutes. The round trip lasts approximately 3.5 hours, returning to the starting point. You can choose 'Route A' for a 2-hour cruise or 'Route B' for a 1.5-hour cruise option.

On board, the crew welcomes you warmly. The Wiener schnitzel is freshly made by hand, breaded and fried in butter lard. Premium Julius Meinl coffee and Austrian pastries are available for purchase but are not included in the ticket price.
