Experience the magic of Vienna at Christmas on a guided evening tour aboard an open-top, double-decker bus, followed by a visit to Schönbrunn Christmas Market and the spectacular Imperial Lights experience at Schönbrunn Palace Gardens.
Discover Austria's capital at its most enchanting as Vienna glows with festive lights and decorations. Travel along the elegant Ringstraße and admire the city's famous landmarks illuminated for the festive season. Your evening begins at 4:30pm at Big Bus Stop #1 (Albertina), where you'll board your bus for a 60–70-minute panoramic tour of Vienna's festive sights.
Continue to Schönbrunn Palace, where your guide will accompany you to the Christmas Market. Soak up the festive atmosphere before making your way to Imperial Lights, a spectacular light experience set within the historic Schönbrunn Palace Gardens.
At approximately 6pm, your guide will leave you at the entrance to Imperial Lights, where you can explore the illuminated gardens independently at your own pace. Discover dazzling artistic installations as the Crown Prince Garden and its surroundings are transformed into a magical world of light, combining baroque elegance with contemporary light design inspired by Vienna's imperial heritage.
Enjoy the festive atmosphere and spectacular light displays before boarding the return shuttle bus at 7:30pm, which will take you back to Vienna's city centre.

- The tour operates daily from 6 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. Departure is at 4:30pm from Big Bus Stop #1 (Albertina). Please arrive by 4:15pm. The total experience lasts approximately 3 hours. Your guide will accompany you on the panoramic bus tour and to the Schönbrunn Christmas Market. The Imperial Lights experience is self-guided, allowing you to explore the illuminated gardens at your own pace. A return shuttle bus departs Schönbrunn at 7:30pm. Dress warmly for the winter evening.
