Description
From the lively starting point, we quickly immerse ourselves in the oldest alleyways of the Inner City and follow the paths once traveled by merchants, sailors and students. Along the way, we will encounter stories of ancient knights, mysterious events and Viennese legends that run through this quarter like an invisible thread. At the same time, a fascinating panorama of different architectural styles and details opens up before us, lining up along the way like the pages of an open history book.
We pass through hidden courtyards, quiet passages and winding passageways through buildings that are easy to overlook in everyday life – small worlds where time seems to flow differently.
Finally, our tour ends at the site of the former Roman legionary camp, taking us directly to the deepest historical roots of Vienna.
