After the sun has set, be picked up directly from your accommodation by your driver/guide, and taken on your tailor-made journey through the highlights of Vienna in the romantic setting of night. Although your tour is completely customizable, and points of interest can be added or taken away, the following itinerary is one we suggest to use as a base.
Visit the former imperial summer residence of Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth (Sisi). Walk through the formal gardens and then up to the Gloriette to enjoy the view over the city and the forests of Austria`s capital. Enter the palace to see the Great Gallery, the Yellow Salon, and Franz Joseph’s private suite and many other famous rooms of the palace like the music room, where Mozart performed when he was six years old.
Drive along the Ringstrasse, one of the most beautiful boulevards in the world. See the Imperial Palace, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Vienna State Opera, and Parliament. Magnificent palaces, extensive parks, and important monuments all illuminated at night, also line the 'display window' of the former Danube monarchy.
Visit Kärntner Straße, the most famous shopping street in Vienna. If you happen to visit Vienna in December, you are going to see Kartner Street at its finest, all lighted up and glorious. It's a walk to remember.
Admire the most beautiful city night view from Kahlenberg Hill. The famous Viennese hill is located just outside of the city and it's offering the most picturesque view of the city at night.
See the Belvedere Palace, a baroque architectural jewel consisting of two palaces (Upper and Lower Belvedere), which today house Austrian art from the Middle Ages to the present. Perhaps the most memorable photo of your night tour is the magnificence of the Belvedere Palace illuminated.
After an evening exploring the best Vienna has to offer you, have the option to be dropped off to the city center to have a drink, or you will then return to your car, and be transported safely back to your accommodation.
