Description

My name is Lena, born and raised in Vienna. Cooking and good food are family passions, and I focus on Austrian cuisine influenced by the Austro-Hungarian Empire, including Bohemia, Hungary, and Italy.

In this class, I share my family’s recipes, passed down through generations. We meet in my apartment in Vienna city center, housed in a typical 1800s Viennese Biedermeier-style building filled with antiquities and modern art.

We start with an introduction to Austrian cuisine, then I explain the dishes we will prepare together. Depending on group size (2-12 participants), we cook 2 or 3 courses. This includes my grandmother's famous Viennese potato soup, chicken schnitzel with cucumber and potato salad, and freshly baked apple strudel for dessert.

You will actively cook to ensure you can recreate the dishes at home. After cooking, we share the meal together.
