- The Skywalk viewpoint is not barrier-free; wheelchairs and pushchairs must be left at the valley station, with many steps to reach the viewpoint

- If your Vienna hotel is outside postcodes 1010 to 1090, you must select the meeting point option
- Tours use a minivan with driver-guide or a bus with licensed guide, depending on group size
- Infants require their own paid seats; the tour is not recommended for babies or small children
- Cash is advised in Hallstatt as many places do not accept cards
