In general it is an exclusive gym, modern machines and spacious entrance. I am visiting this studio as a Myclubs member. Apparently this location is priced higher than all other Holmes Places, and this is the point where I get lost. It takes also two credits from Myclubs, allowing a visit only twice per month. I think the exclusivity is way worse compared to other Holmes places like at Millennium. Ok, it has a nice entrance and stair case but that’s where it ends. The machines are tightly packed, and no good view or room design given like in all other nice gyms in town. Even millenium is way better. Next some machines are marked as broken since months. Nothing changes. People leave their towels everywhere on the floor and nobody keeps an eye on keeping stuff tidy. Worst is the pool (even smaller than millenium, again, I don’t get the price differnece), it is very very dirty water. So many bits and pieces of please don’t tell me what are floating in the water. The first time I used this pool I got sick afterwards. Now they did some maintenance but water quality hasn’t changed. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s bad but it’s nothing better than any regular gym. And compared to other Holmes places, this is the worst but most expensive. One last word on the front desk staff. Unfortunately rather unfriendly and not helpful. Again a standard being fulfilled by neighbouring gyms. BUT nice entrance hall.

Fantastic gym with the best trainers. The classes are well structured, the space is clean and never feels overcrowded. Perfect if you want a more personal high-quality fitness experience 💫

It has an amazingly practical location in the heart of Vienna. It does have good installations and infrastructure. The staff is friendly and helpful On peak times certain areas are not very accessible. It can be uncomfortable to find a locker where you have enough space to arrive, unload your stuff and get ready to start your workout. On peak times the wellness area might also be too tight for comfort… Bear in mind that in Austria it is common to have mixed spa areas where the rule is to be naked and without swimwear. There are no children; they are not allowed. In my opinion it is overpriced. Constantly there are repairs which block the usage of the one or the other sauna, steam room, etc The ‘silence’ room may not be so silent if you are unlucky to try to relax while there is Water aerobics with very loud music. The rules of this area do not allow the use of music; but they do have this. So loud you may find it more than annoying inside the sauna or silent room.

Holmes Place Börseplatz is the best gym in Vienna. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Besides that, the wellness area is really what makes the membership worth it. After a workout, it is always nice to treat myself to a nice relaxing session in the wellness area. I would also recommend Stella as a personal trainer. She is very nice, and knows what she is talking about.
