I had a wonderful 11-day stay at the Hotel Royal. The room was bright, clean, and spacious. Vienna was in a heat wave and it was hot everywhere but my air conditioned room was nice and cool. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was performing two consecutive weekends at St. Stephen's Cathedral with multiple rehearsals so the location was perfect for me. I would definitely stay here again.
I had an excellent stay at Hotel Royal. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. The staff was courteous, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location was convenient, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Royal to anyone looking for quality accommodations and great hospitality.
Great location. A little dated. Had to move rooms mid-stay as our air con was broken. The staff didn’t resolve the issue at the first time of asking either and I’m not convinced by their explanations. They did throw in a small discount and one free breakfast for the inconvenience. Breakfast was adequate but nothing very appealing. The price was excessively high due to the marathon weekend. The beds are low, mattresses are hard and the pillows are poor quality. Quite disappointing for the price. The on site Firenze and roof top restaurants are overpriced too. The duty manager was more helpful than others and he deserves a positive mention.
Hotel Royal was the perfect choice for our Vienna vacation. The hotel location is outstanding! It is surrounded by stores and restaurants and is steps from St. Stephen's Cathedral. It also is also very close to a Billa if you are in need of groceries! We felt very safe walking in the area at night as well. The location of the hotel made our days hassle free and added to our overall experience. The rooms are spacious and provide all necessary amenities. I must add that the housekeeping does an excellent job as the room was extremely clean which made for a comfortable stay. Lastly, I feel Hotel Royal's staff is superior. They are available to help in any way. They are friendly and very conscientious. I would definitely stay at Hotel Royal on a return stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna.
Fantastic central location, being right next to St Stephan's Cathedral, and within 10 minutes walk to many of the historical sights in Wien. Also close to U-Bahn station and a supermarket across the street. Very professional, friendly and helpful staff providing 24 hour reception service. Room was very spacious and clean, bathroom is modern and generous size. Nice bit of history to the hotel as well. Would definitely stay here again!
