From Bratislava, the tour continues into the scenic Slovak countryside. First is Devín Castle, a dramatic ruin perched above the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers. One of the oldest castles in Slovakia, it combines powerful history with breathtaking panoramas. Next comes a true taste of local life: a stop at a traditional salaš near Stupava, where you can try authentic Slovak dishes such as bryndzové halušky (sheep cheese dumplings), grilled kolbasa, or refreshing žinčica (sheep’s milk drink).
