In the middle of the big city of Vienna, you'll find the Alte Donau, which has been a recreational paradise for the Viennese for 100 years and still is today. You'll get to know this natural gem on a boat trip.

Description
The meeting point is the 'Neue Donau' station on the U6. After an introduction to the history of the old Danube, we'll head to the boat (walking distance approx. 10 minutes). We'll take the boat to the so-called Gänsehäufel. On the ride, you'll get information about the development of the individual beaches along the old Danube. You'll see the Danube Tower, which is almost the tallest building in Austria. You'll also learn about the development of the Danube Park. You'll make a detour to the Kaiserwasser and visit UNO City, as Vienna is one of the most important UN cities in the world. We'll visit the Gänsehäufel, one of the largest baths in Vienna. (No swimming allowed). From here, we'll head back to the boat dock, where we'll dock again after about 1.5 hours.Includes
