You have to get the artichoke if you come here! It's huge and perfectly cooked, and when you get to the heart/bottom, they take it back to the kitchen and trim it and sauté in olive oil and bring it back to you. The tartare was very good too. This was also the best schnitzel I had, out of three, including another one which was also a Michelin Guide restaurant. It was huge, not at all greasy, crispy, and tender, and the breading didn't separate from the meat. They also give you a whole half a lemon, in mesh. The potato salad was very good. The salmon entree was also very good. The wine glass pours are a little small, but the wine list is fun, with a lot of Austrian wines, and they explain the wines a little bit too. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality and portion size.

Have eaten all over Europe at Michelin Guided restaurant and starred ones. This place was about as good as it gets. Traditional food, done well. The service was exceptional, which is certainly not standard everywhere. Every dish was well thought out. Could not hope for more and at a reasonable price for the level of cookery there. It would be a shame to spend time in Vienna and miss this place.

My first ever trip to Europe began in Vienna. My first experience with the Michelin Guide along with it. I can confidently say this was one of the best meals of my life, so much so I even wrote a review about it. The staff at Liebsteinsky were absolutely amazing. Heiner especially took amazing care of me. The food was amazing and the service made me feel welcomed. If I had the money to I would fly to Vienna just to eat here.
