Absolutely delightful experience! We tried the garlic soup, grilled chicken breast, and the Viennese roast beef with onion—everything was so delicious! The raspberry soda is also very good. Super peaceful atmosphere. Everyone working here was so nice to us and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!
A FOODIE’S LUCKY CHANCE OF A DELIGHTFUL LIGHT LUNCHEON in Vienna 🤗🤗🤗. Apparently a family run, it’s a very pleasant well lit small restaurant. The Menu is short and sweet, a listing of light fares. Familiar foods BUT they do it well. 🤗the Capresse Feta Salad is a departure from the classic Italian with generous lovely slices of light Feta rather than Mozzarella, with lots of olives. 🤗 the Shrimp Salad is a refreshing medley of crunchy vegetables and lightly sautéed shrimps. 🤗 the Cesar Salad is lovely lettuce and veggies with chicken with slivers of Parmesan 🤗 the Burger has very flavorful beef patties 🍻🍻🍻 beers pair so well Service is outstanding!
Calling all foodies, yes including you American foodies! All right, just let me tell you right now, if you're going to have veal schnitzel here in Vienna you need to come here. They make it from scratch, every order, not pre-made early in the day like many establishments do. Goulash you say? that's right! They have goulash here. Incredible goulash, you will confuse it for some Grandma's goulash, it is that good. Comfort food is found here in spades. I cannot compliment this place anymore that I'm doing now. The owners are beautiful people who treat their customers as if they were family. You asked why didn't I give this place a five star? As you know if you read any of my prior reviews, I like to leave room for improvement. Take note of the preparation. The owner wipes every single glass spotless including forks and knives. I was watching them prepare salads to go, or what the British call takeaway, which they wrap the salad container with the lid on and then they wrap it up in plastic cling wrap. Wait there's more, if it's a hot dish. They wrap that sealed dish in aluminum foil. The care and attention found here is impeccable. If you're still reading this and you're not walking or driving here, you're out of your mind. You have to try this place. It is that good. Did I repeat myself? I don't think so it is that good? Be looking for me here because you'll find me here again. Take a look at the pictures and understand what beautiful food they serve at this place. The decor simple yet. Homely. Like that comfort diner you would find in the United States, sometimes referred to as that hole in the wall. This place merits all those gracious comets.
I visited this place as a tourist to try a real Austrian schnitzel, and it was exactly what I wanted. The food was very delicious, full of flavor, and the sauce was excellent. The potatoes were also really tasty. I was pleasantly surprised that the owner was from my home country. He was very kind and polite. Also, a lady working there, maybe his wife or sister, gave me very helpful suggestions. This place feels like a hidden gem. The food quality is great and the hospitality is top level. It can be hard to find a table, but if you get the chance, don’t miss it. Hope to see both of you guys again💚🤞🏼
A restaurant worth visiting and worth returning to! The veal schnitzel here is delicious and has a very generous portion. It was not too oily and not too thin, which was great! The beef goulash was very flavorful and there was a good portion of meat too. There was a lot of potatoes in this dish, so you will not get hungry if you love potatoes. The cheeseburger was decent and we ordered it because we have been having Viennese food for few days in a row. The wine selection was affordable and all of them looked good. They’re all from around Austria and I really appreciated the variety. The service staff is very kind and patient. Loved the hospitality and would recommend to try this place out! There could be a small wait depending on what time you arrive, but don’t be discouraged!
