Was in Vienna on vacation and had read about Josef Cocktail bar and was not disappointed! The cocktails were well balanced with great presentation. My wife and I sat at the bar and had a great chat with Niko and Julian, who provided some other bars in Vienna to check out. Over my 3 days in Vienna, I recommended Josef to 3 other travelers in the hopes they could experience the bar as I did! Thank you
A very nice place with very good and creative drinks. The prices are a little higher than average but you can feel the experience of the bartender and the quality of the products used
A brilliant find in Vienna. Josef’s has a relaxed, confident atmosphere that makes it very easy to settle in and stay longer than planned. Nico looked after us and struck exactly the right tone — knowledgeable, personable and completely at ease. The service throughout felt natural and attentive without ever being overdone, which made the whole experience feel effortless. The cocktails were a real highlight. Each one felt considered and well judged, offering a fresh take on familiar ideas without losing their character. It’s the kind of place that quietly gets everything right
A rare find. Joseph’s strikes that perfect balance between effortlessly cool and genuinely welcoming. The staff were a joy — warm, attentive and naturally funny. This created an atmosphere that feels relaxed from the moment you arrive. The cocktails are where this place truly shines: inventive, beautifully balanced and a refreshing take on some of the classics without ever feeling overcomplicated. Joseph’s is one of those bars you’ll find yourself recommending (and returning to) without hesitation.
A small and cozy bar. The menu is very nice and humorously prepared. On the evening we visited, two young bartenders and a young woman were working. It was wonderful to be greeted and served by young and energetic people, congratulations. We tried two cocktails, I found La Muerta to be more successful. It's a spicy and smoky flavor.
