The 40 chanel mixer here is new, so are the many session nights with famous musicians (Jim Pepper, Egberto Gismonti, Mike Stern, Dave Weckl, Gilberto Gil, Tuck & Patti, among others) - usually you listen to the concert first, then you can join or listen to jam sessions till early hours in the morning!
Food is great here, on Saturdays they usually have latin bands where you can join the latin expat crowd going wild with their samba/salsa moves...
