A caw here, a flutter there ... many have seen or heard a little, but no one really knows who rattled at the windows of the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace last night and then disappeared without a trace. The clues are scattered throughout the entire palace park. Follow them, and you‘ll get to the bottom of the fluttering spook ... That‘s your mission! Help the cute squirrel detective “Pep” to consult the various stone witnesses throughout the park in order to find out who tried to break into the palace! Let‘s grab your family and follow the predefined route of this family-friendly scavenger hunt through the magnificent park of Schönbrunn Palace. This city puzzle rally leads you through the gorgious gardens, where you can find all sorts of sights a little off the beaten tourist track from the palace up to the scenic Gloriette and back again. Who, for example, knows the enchanted Roman Ruin, the mighty Obelisk Fountain with its fantasy hieroglyphs, or the fragrant Rose Garden? You will discover these gems and many more one by one on this puzzle route. The entire puzzle route covers about 3,6 kilometers and will take you between 2.5 and 3.5 hours. The tour can be paused at any time. The starting point is at Schönbrunn Palace, but the end of the route is about a fifteen-minute walk away ... be surprised. Just this much is revealed: If you want to spend a whole day in Schönbrunn with your family and visit both the fascinating Children‘s Museum in Schönbrunn Palace and the famous Schönbrunn Zoo (one of the best worldwide!), then this puzzle rally would fit perfectly between these two highlights! Got the hint...? ;-) Although the route is predefined, you‘ll have to figure it out first.... by puzzling your way from station to station. The game works completely analog by using envelopes marked with different flowers that you might encounter on your walk through the park. Only when you solve the puzzles and tasks correctly you will find out which flower envelope to continue with. And inside are the next tasks ... and so on... until you reach your final destination and the story comes to a happy end! The tasks are suitable for children who can already handle letters, younger ones can be helped by parents. Of course, you can enjoy your scavenger hunt in the closest family circle. But it‘s more fun in a group! 2-5 children are recommended, accompanied by at least one trusted adult. And please feel free to take grandma and grandpa along as well ... they will surely enjoy quality time together with their grandchildren!
