Description

In the footsteps of the wonderful Princess Sissi. On this tour we will learn more about her personality, her work and her influence on history. Our first stop will be the Church of St. Augustine, the place where the fate of Princess Elisabeth of Bavaria changed forever. Did you know that the wedding between Sissi and Emperor Franz Joseph I was celebrated here in 1854? We will then head towards the Hofburg Palace, the largest in the Austrian capital and the former official residence of the Habsburgs. Here, proceed in the direction of the Swiss Courtyard, antechamber of the Schatzkammer, and we will access the Sissi Museum, a complete collection of personal objects that will provide us with an insight into the empress's private life. Located within the imperial apartments, the museum boasts clothes, jewelery and portraits that belonged to the princess. Think about it: you will even see the bed on which she was resting! After two hours of experience, we will conclude the tour. Language: Italian Duration: 1.5 hours Starting point: in the center - signposted Josefsplatz
