Karlheinz Essl, owner of a chain of DIY stores, had the house custom-built by architect Heinz Tesar, and while slightly imposing from the outside, it is one great, impressive exhibition space on the inside. The focus is on contemporary Austrian art, but there are frequent temporary exhibitions on all kinds of things. Check out the website for more information.
